Our dedicated team of professionals provide caring and professional inpatient, outpatient and support services to adults and adolescents suffering from psychiatric or addictive disorders. Additionally, the Geriatric unit provides acute care for seniors in psychiatric crisis. Â Acceptable oral and electronic communication, ability to maintain information as highly confidential, telephone etiquette, and customer service skills by phone and face-to-face, familiarity with medical and psychological terminology preferred; skills in dealing courteously with the public and other staff within the organization; basic knowledge of human behavior or principles of psychology useful; skills in prioritizing and in managing time; problem-solving skills; use of appropriate social skills, including demonstration and respect for staff and patients; empathy toward patients.
Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to providing clinical work expertise to hospital wide programs; Intake Assessments, Level of Care staffing, completing of a registration, and initial pre-certifications. Deliver social services in assigned areas according to patient needs, adhere to standards of patient quality care and work as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and within guidelines set by the Access Department and the Access Director. Conduct biopsychosocial assessments; individual, group, and family therapy; discharge and treatment planning.
