The position is that of the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for the Community Nursing Home program. The ANM provides the CNH Program Director (PD) assistance with managing an interdisciplinary staff to assure safe, efficient and effective care is delivered to approximately 250-300 veterans who are cared for on a daily basis in contract, Veteran Care Agreement, or CCN Community Nursing Home facilities located in San Antonio and surrounding cities. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. English Language Proficiency: In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7402(d), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English
