The Cancer Registry Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our cancer registry services, overseeing all cancer registry functions. To include training, supervision of non-CTR cancer registry staff, case finding, abstracting, follow-up, Tumor Board preparation and tracking, reporting to the state, and supporting our American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACS) accreditation standard. This position ensures that Benefis Sletten Cancer Institute is prepared for all upcoming accreditation surveys, supports all quality goals of the Oncology Committee.
