The Social Worker (Program Coordinator) for the Community Nursing Home (CNH) program at the Salem Veterans Affairs Health Care System (HCS) primary responsibilities are to manage the daily operation of case management and programmatic needs of those Veterans placed in a nursing home under VA contract. The Social Worker (Program Coordinator) also develops policies and procedures for program operation and prepares reports and statistics for service line, facility, VISN, and national use. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Education: Have a master's degree in social work from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
