Social Worker (Substance Abuse Treatment Program)
The John J. Pershing Medical Center is seeking two full time Licensed Clinical Social Workers to join the Mental Health Care Line, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The Substance Abuse Treatment Program (SATP) social worker (LCSW) assumes responsibility for the provision of substance abuse outpatient services to veterans. The SATP social worker interviews patients and significant others and completes psychosocial assessments. The assessment will include data pertinent to the development of an effective treatment plan as stipulated in JCAHO's standards. The social worker will serve as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
