Unit/Position Summary The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patients needs. Boise 6 East Med/Surg Unit is a 35 bed combination of general medical patients as well as post-surgical patients. The average nurse/patient ratio is 1:5. 6E provides care to adult patients with general medical conditions and/or post-surgical abdominal, vascular, urology, bariatric and gynecology patients.
