Registered Nurse- Case Manager
This Care Manager Registered Nurse Position falls under the Acute Care section within VA Pittsburgh. The Registered Nurse will support observation patients and inpatient movement to facilitate timely and effective discharge planning. The incumbent will also coordinate medical testing, identify and resolve obstacles to discharge, and prioritize interventions based on medical need and the expectation that observation patients are discharged in a timely fashion. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
