InGenesis is currently seeking 100+ Case Managers. The Case Manager shall provide on-site services to meet the unique needs of the Unaccompanied Children (UC) population. Case Management services for the UC population are focused on engaging and assessing sponsors to ensure timely family reunification while maintaining compliance with established state and federal standards.

Job Duties
Conduct initial intake assessment and develop an individual service plan for each UC within the specified timeframe.
Coordinate referrals, service planning and update assigned caseload files.
Contact potential sponsors to initiate sponsor assessments, including performing background checks, child abuse and neglect checks, and sex offender registry checks in accordance with Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) policies and procedures.
Ensure sponsor application packets are completed within the contract required timeline.
Document UC and sponsor progress towards achieving reunification within contract timelines.
Coordinate with ORR stakeholders to unify UC with the respective sponsors.
Provide regular status updates to supervisor.
Comply with all applicable State child welfare laws and regulations, and all State and local health and safety codes.
Deliver services in a manner that is sensitive to the age, culture, native language, and needs of each UC.
Maintain assigned case load in accordance with policies and procedures and licensing and contract standards.
Update and submit accurate records in a timely fashion and identify any changes that impact a release care plan or individual service plan.
Assess ongoing changes in behavior, circumstances or conditions that may affect child safety.
Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations.
Conduct individualized needs assessment and develop treatment plans.
Meet all department and contractual deadlines.
Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Participate in department meetings and UC orientations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social service fields.
Must have at least one year of experience working with child welfare standards, best practices, or quality assurance or compliance.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Certifications:
CPR required.
EBI – Emergency Behavior Intervention preferred.
Other Requirements:
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
Provide proof of work eligibility status.
Pass all pertinent required background checks and child abuse and neglect checks.
Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
Experience in working with immigrant populations and child welfare- Preferred.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to provide in-person and distance or virtual-based assistance as appropriate.
