The Infection Prevention & Control Professional (IPCP) RN is responsible for implementation of the SFVA HCS Infection Control Program (ICP), insuring high quality practices to prevent and control transmission of infection across all sites and programs. The ICP is a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary health care system wide program designed to monitor, prevent and control infections, and their adverse effects on patients, employees, trainees, volunteers and visitors. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
