The RN Advisor (RNA) supports Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) activities by applying the nursing process to data gathered by the CDI team, reviewing it for clinical validation, trends, opportunities for improvement, and communicating this information back to the CDI team, providers and other departments. The RNA facilitates improvements to clinical documentation and promotes capture of clinical severity to support the level of service rendered to relevant patient populations. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
