The Nursing Officer of the Day (NOD) is a professional registered nurse who coordinates the patient care of Veteran patients through direct supervision of Patient Care Services staff throughout the Altoona VA Medical Center during administrative and non-administrative tours of duty. This position potentially requires flexibility in schedule and assignments, as the Altoona VA Medical Center is a 24/7 hospital.
