The Nursing Care Coordinator is a Registered Nurse who functions independently, demonstrating decision making capacity. Demonstrates the ability to assume responsibility for the management of complex care problems, plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates the Veterans care program and reports activities to facility and VISN. RN ensures quality nursing care is rendered to patients in accordance with policies, procedures and the standards of Nursing Service and Medical Center. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
