The Quality Improvement Specialist is aligned to the Quality and System Improvement (QSI) department that is aligned to the Director's office. The work of QSI is broad in nature covers a wide range of assessments that include health care outcomes, patient safety, risk management, organizational performance based on quality domains, accreditation, performance improvement, SAIL metrics, system redesign, infection control, oversight of and other categories. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
