Our largest hospital, Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center (GSRMC) in Corvallis, Oregon is currently seeking a full time Manager-Case Management-In Patient to join our team.

This key leadership role manages Case Management and Inpatient Social Services activities at SHS. The scope of services includes utilization management, discharge planning, social services, clinical and psychosocial case facilitation, data management and financial assistance and support. Evaluates options and services to meet an individual's health needs through communication and securing available resources to promote quality, cost-effective outcomes. Facilitates collaboration between RN, SW, and other ancillary service staff to achieve optimal team goals. 

GSRMC is one of only five Level II trauma centers in Oregon, with over 2,000 employees and licensed for over 180 beds, GSRMC offers dozens of medical specialties including comprehensive cancer care, a full-service cardiology and cardiovascular surgery program, neurosurgery, orthopedic and spine surgery, inpatient mental health and other regional services. As a teaching hospital GSRMC hosts over 100 medical residents in 12 residency and fellowship programs, offers medical student rotations, nursing preceptorships and a variety of other healthcare clinical experiences.

Our ideal candidate will hold the following experience, education and qualifications:

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN Licensure required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Five (5) years hospital clinical nursing experience required.
• Two (2) years leadership experience required.
• One (1) year case management experience required.
• Healthcare Provider BLS required.
• Certification in Case Management (ACM or CCM) required within 18 months of hire.
• Experience and/or training with computer applications and statistics preferred.
