The Chief Nurse for Primary Care has direct oversight of nursing staff located at 8 primary care sites, including 7 CBOC's and primary care at the main facility, which encompasses approximately 135 employees. S/he assists with the planning and implementation of educational programs for staff, and serves as a mentor and preceptor. The incumbent works collaboratively with all disciplines to ensure efficient, timely and quality care in the related service.
