The incumbent provides social work services and case management services for Veterans with behavioral health diagnoses as an integral part of the outpatient Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) team. As a member of a Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program team (BHIP), the incumbent will conduct psychosocial assessments, provide crisis intervention, and evidence-based psychotherapy, as well as work with the Veteran and the BHIP team to establish treatment plans. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
