The incumbent will serve as the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)/Polytrauma Coordinator and Specialty Care Social Worker and is assigned to Social Work Service. The TBI/Polytrauma programs are nationally recognized in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) as special disabilities programs. The TBI/Polytrauma/Specialty Care Social Worker has the responsibility of coordinating treatment services for Veterans within assigned clinics. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
