Social Worker (Substance Use Disorder)
The incumbent serves as in the Mental Health Service as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Substance Use Disorder team with a full range of therapeutic, diagnostic, and training activities. The Substance Abuse Disorder (SUD) Program seeks to provide safe, efficient and effective provision of recovery-oriented services based on VA clinical practice guidelines for psychosocial interventions for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
