The License Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) provides mental health therapy and Substance Abuse counseling for eligible Veterans in the Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences department at the Asheville VAMC. The LPMHC provides clinical psychosocial assessments, individual and group therapy treatment in a residential setting for Veterans with primary substance use disorders as well as co-occurring disorders. Independently documents the workload in CPRS computer system. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 01/31/2022.
