Summary

Responsible for implementing and coordinating the daily operations of the Case Management Department. Supervises the Case Management personnel in the areas of staffing, utilization review activity care coordination and timely discharge of patients. Responsible for reinforcing the on-going education of the Case Management staff to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and those of third party review organizations. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Graduation from approved School of Nursing. Licensed Registered Nurse with the State of Florida, BSN preferred. Five or more years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, two or more years of hospital based case management/utilization review experience with at least one at the management level. Excellent organizational skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to lead and coordinate activities of a diverse group of people; demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills; and computer literate
