HUD-VASH is an intensive case management program for chronically homeless Veterans aimed at providing psychosocial services to Veterans while residing in stable housing through HUD's Section 8 voucher system. The HUD-VASH Case Manager is a senior social worker with experience that demonstrates possession of advanced practice skills and judgment. Major duties and responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HUD-VASH program. Responsible for providing HUD-VASH case management. Interviews Clients and Conducts Psychosocial Assessments. Makes Psychosocial Diagnoses. Develops psychosocial treatment plans in coordination with interdisciplinary team members, including goals for psychosocial clinical treatment.
