This position is located in the Mental Health Service, VA Central Alabama Health Care System (CAVHCS), at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), in Columbus, GA. The Social Worker (MSW) is assigned to Primary Care/Mental Health Integration Program and is responsible for the management, coordination and development of social work services to Veterans and their families assigned to the clinic. Duties include, but not limited to the following: Provides psychosocial treatment to a wide variety of individuals from various socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, educational, and other diversified backgrounds.
