The Procedural Staff RN functions as an integral member of the procedural/interventional team, interacting with patients, physicians, and anesthesia staff in the procedural setting. Implements the plan of care demonstrating expert knowledge of the responsibilities of the RN pre-procedure, intra-procedure, post-procedure and follow-up. Assists in the performance of complex procedures, monitoring the case and giving feedback as necessary. Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care based on age-specific components. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient transition through the continuum of care, patient and family education, patient self-management after discharge, and supporting factors that impact customer satisfaction. Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team. Revises interdisciplinary plan of care based upon on-going patient assessment and evaluation Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm; NOTE: Shifts may vary depending on patient care needs.
