JOB SUMMARY

The VP, GBC TMO Ops position is responsible for leading a team of professionals, work cross functionally within enabling functions, operations and shared services to formulate a detailed project plan by work stream and sub function, enabling plan execution consistent with traditional expectations of a Transformation Management Office (TMO) role, and tracking/reporting progress to ultimately deliver an on time GBC operation center consistent with Conifer�s on going GBC planning. This individual will be responsible for evaluating key organizational progress, surfacing gaps and developing strategic and tactical solutions to meet work stream delivery commitments, pulling forward opportunities, with keen focus on �operationalizing� into a mature delivery service center. The incumbent will work with key stakeholders (Operations Sr. Leaders, EY Resources, Project Phoenix Leaders, IT, HR, FPA, GBC etc.) to assure alignment amongst multiple parties, plan requirements, processes, organizational structure, timing skills, and systems for effective delivery.

This position ensures development and measurement of key metrics, and provides qualitative status reporting to identify success and risk to delivery, provide actionable solutions designed to meet GBC planning requirements. This individual will play a key role in assuring that Operations will meet the GBC Conifer Project EBIT and margin growth targets. This highly focused disciplined individual will need to bring and apply broad operational experience, having led business units, service groups, and change management teams � resulting in delivery of ELT level/endorsed transformational programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Focus on complex problem solving and critical thinking, patient experience and outcomes impacted by projects, directing vendors and managing consultant resources as extensions, system and process structures changes, gap id and fix for better alignment and support of needed outcomes, improvements in cost reduction and lean delivery, operational reality â�� crisp, clean, concise communication â�� operational outcomes.
• Leads multi-million dollar ROI strategic initiatives, including scoping, solution design, business case development, negotiation, funding, vendor assessment and selection, contracting, implementation and monitoring.
• Partner with internal and external product development and cross-functional teams to support new business initiatives that deliver long term value-added products for our customers.
• Manage P&L for critical projects and strategic initiatives, including reporting benefits and costs to Executive Team. Ensure project benefits and costs are achieved and reflected accurately in financial records, in collaboration with Finance and Operations.
• Develop, measure and communicate key performance and financial indicators across the value chain, including metrics for suppliers, inputs, processes and process outputs
• Partner in strategic long term roadmap of critical technologies. Assist with Identify, design and build best-of-breed technology that automates work, increases quality and promotes patient satisfaction. Help design and implement complex and scalable technology solutions that close performance gaps and create competitive advantages for clients and Conifer.
• Collaborate with client delivery/operations leaders to determine measurable performance metrics, and oversee the design of reports and presentation materials that effectively and accurately measure and communicate account performance.
• Identify key economic trends, business drivers and competitive forces that could impact the Companyâ��s financial and/or operational performance. Ensure routine assessment of all metrics measured support internal and external factors that could affect performance.
• Foster a high performance culture that is focused on interpreting and delivering data and information that supports effective performance tracking of all services provided.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.

• Bachelorâ��s degree in business, healthcare or related field, Masterâ��s degree preferred
• 5 + years of healthcare revenue cycle management exposure, or related
• Minimum 7 years Operational experience leading multi business lines and/or shared services/PMP groups across enterprise
• Minimum 7 years PMP and Change Management experience is a plus â�� with working experience in collaborative enterprise projects of develop, implement, integrate and optimize programs
• Leading use case, design council, managing multi stakeholders, familiarity with technology, program leadership, reorg and culture change experience
