The Senior Social Worker practices in the Behavioral Health clinical setting to provide mental health services. Serves as the Primary Mental Health Treatment Coordinator, case/care manager and psychotherapist to a patient population with highly complex health and mental health problems. They require specialized knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis/intervention, and treatment and must be skilled in the areas of post traumatic stress disorder, domestic violence, substance abuse, homelessness, etc.
