JOB SUMMARY
This is a key role with responsibility and involvement across a broad range of operational and financial management areas. Specific activities include operational reporting and forecasting, business financial analysis in support of strategic initiatives and developing data-driven insights to drive the business forward in a measureable way.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a suite of operational performance reporting and communicate business unit operational performance trends (both historical and forecasted).
- Facilitate the Integrated Management System across all operational functions by streamlining communication across sites, standardizing operational reporting throughout the organization and influencing process improvement.
- Maintain an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with the necessary insight to establish goals, measure performance and make sound business decisions.
Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Advanced SQL proficiency required
- Able to translate quantitative analysis and tools into business implications
- Proven ability to quantify and deliver on business case financial objectives
- Strong delegation and prioritization skills
- Capability to influence decision-making and instill credibility through meeting strategic objectives, deadlines, budget, and developing strong productive partnerships
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive demonstrable and quantifiable results
- Experience completing business process reengineering by leveraging business and technology
- Experience leading project teams and a proven track record of consistent deadline and cost management
- Capable of explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Experience in developing and implementing systemic and other controls in a highly regulated environment
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, including ability to tailor communications based on audience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including advanced Excel skills
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE - 4 year college degree with major in Business Admin, Computer Science, Accounting or Finance
- 5 � 7 years of business operations experience preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Must be able to work in sitting position, use computer and answer telephone
- May travel occasionally
