Tenet healthcare has a newly created role for a Director, Employee Relations. The Director, Employee Relations provides leadership, consultative recommendations, and support for the employee relations function. This individual promotes positive employee relations throughout the enterprise by ensuring development and implementation of consistent and equitable processes, providing guidance on best practices, identifying solutions and diffusing issues to mitigate risk, and maintaining legal compliance.
â�¢Provides vision and critical leadership to manage the Employee Relations function in support of the values, mission, and culture of the organization and ensures consistent alignment of process, communication and policy.
â�¢Provides direction to proactively identify risks, diffuse issues, and provide employee and management consultation, conduct investigations, and resolve issues as they arise
â�¢Recommends mitigation actions based on identified employee risks across the organization.
â�¢Develops positive business relationships with employees and key executive stakeholders through ensuring that employee relations issues are addressed in a comprehensive and collaborative manner.
â�¢Ensures effective recording of ER data to help identify emerging internal trends and insights regarding employee issues.
â�¢Leads the presentation of ER deep-dive analytics to HR Business Partners to provide understanding around the drivers of employee behavior.
â�¢Collaborates with Legal, HR Business Partners, and leadership teams in order to identify and develop solutions around employee relations issues.
â�¢Partners with legal to respond to prepare responses to any State or Federal administrative charges or complaints as necessary.
â�¢Serves as an escalation point for complex employee relations issues and investigations by utilizing strong negotiation, conflict resolution, mediation skills, and experience.
â�¢Partners with HR leadership and the legal team to represent the organization in charge investigations and/or litigation cases.
â�¢Develops and monitors metrics/tracking mechanisms that measure results, efficiency, and cost effectiveness, while ensuring employee disputes and complaints are handled in a timely and appropriate manner.
â�¢Provides guidance to leadership, as needed, for difficult or actionable complaints filed by employees.
â�¢Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or regulatory bodies.
Minimum Bachelorâ��s degree required, preferably in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
Minimum of ten years of Employee Relations experience at a large-sized organization required, preferably in a healthcare environment
Minimum of seven years of managerial experience required
