Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking an innovative and experienced leader to join our Heart and Vascular leadership team as Manager, Clinical Research Operations. Job Responsibilities As a position integral to the growth and advancement of the organization’s clinical trials portfolio, the individual selected for this role will, under the direction of the Operations Director and Associate Dean of Research, provide leadership and oversight of clinical research project(s) with an emphasis on managing the day to day operations of the assigned clinical research staff (i.e. Clinical Research Nurse, Study Coordinators, and Data Managers). The manager, Clinical Research Operations will interface with multiple levels of the organization, health system partners and external entities to provide continuous improvement and goals within the research department. The individual selected with this role will focus on staying current with Human Subject Protection Training and Good Clinical Practices (GCP) as well as local and federal regulations covering clinical trials.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required. RN License required. 5 years of experience in clinical trials research required. 2 years of leadership experience. SOCRA or ACRP certification required
