This position reports to the Director, Finance – Physician Network and works closely with the Manager, Finance SMG and the Manager, Finance VCMG. This roles primary responsible is leading the creation and development of department budgets and ensuring the accuracy of the data in the financial systems. This position requires a strong financial analysis background and deep understanding of systems database structures and financial reporting packages.This position will also aid the in the development of templates and reporting packages that will enhance the analysis and reporting for the Medical Foundation. This position will also perform complex analysis to support financial and operational reporting.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Sciences preferred. Certified Financial Analysis or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred. A minimum five (5) years experience in accounting or finance is required with a minimum three (3) years experience in computer information systems or computer science preferred. Excellent analytical, organizational, technical (spreadsheet and database) and communication skills are required. Critical thinking and the ability to work independently under general direction is a must.
